It opens with three doors, one of which frames a beveled mirror, decorated with gilded bronze surrounding Wedgwood porcelain plates. On the side doors, framed in bronze decorated with swans, two oval medallions representing a dancer with a cymbal draped in the antique style, one carrying a fruit basket on her head. In the center above the mirror, gilt bronze winged victories feature a round plaque depicting the patron god Zeus* seated holding the Wedgwood porcelain scepter. It is in amboyna burl veneer and marquetry of light wood and mother-of-pearl The door interiors are in Ceylon lemon wood framed in mahogany Inside in the center a shelf receiving two drawers in lemon wood and three other shelves to be positioned at the choice on the racks - on the sides four shelves on each side, one of which can be used as a wardrobe. Detached columns highlighted with bronze rings frame the cabinet. Ornate bronzes highlighting the cornice on either side Gilded bronze foot clogs decorated with stylized papyrus leaves All the backgrounds are in molded solid mahogany and not in oak as usual.
