Late 18th Century Neoclassic Painted Folding Writing Table flag

Object description :

"Late 18th Century Neoclassic Painted Folding Writing Table"
Wonderful neoclassical folding writing table in painted poplar wood. The decorations on the front and sides recall Renaissance mosaics, with brown and gray lean tempera paintings. Equipped with four drawers on the front, two of which are larger and two smaller, it is an extremely ergonomic piece of furniture. The top also easily flips over to become a spacious desk, very stable and at an ideal height for working comfortably. Inside there are small drawers for storing objects, which, like the top, are painted in salmon pink. Finally, the truncated pyramid legs are a typical detail of late 18th century Tuscan production, to which the furniture is ascribed. This elegant, refined and unique piece of furniture is able to embellish any environment with style.
