"Collector's Furniture In Louis XVI Flamed Mahogany"
Interesting little Louis XVI style mahogany collector's piece of furniture in flamed mahogany, composed of a lower part closing with two curtain doors, two drawers, and two solid upper doors. The piece of furniture is covered with a beautiful Aleppo breche of good thickness. The frame of the furniture is entirely in solid oak covered with a very beautiful mahogany veneer, with a light, moiré shade. The feet are topped with gilded bronze discs and fitted with hooves. The handles are drop-shaped, and the keyholes decorated with garlands. This piece of furniture was certainly intended to store small collectibles. It has its original keys. The workmanship is very careful and is very close to period furniture. Flamed mahogany with this light shade reinforces this charm.
