Chinese Porcelain Yongzheng / Qianlong Large Plate Blue & White Qing Dynasty Dish

A large Chinese porcelain blue and white plate with a ‘Master of the Rocks’ style landscape.
China, late Yongzheng (1723-1735) to early Qianlong period (1736-1795).

Hand painted in underglaze blue. The center reserved in leaf form with crackled-ice ground, depicting a landscape decoration with two figures crossing a bridge surrounded by trees, rocks, mountains, a river with a fisherman in a boat and houses. The border with a reserved decoration forming ruyi heads, filled in with floral scrolls alternated by a diaper pattern.

Dimensions:
Diameter 37.8 cm, height 4.3 cm.

Condition (see photo’s):
The foot rim with two impact lines of 3.5 and 2.3 cm, some small chipping to the foot rim. Furthermore in good condition.
