All iron toppings,

One-branch guard, wooden handle covered with copper filigree calf.

Strong blade engraved with sun and Mameluk.

Opened sheath of geometric shapes on one side and on the other of punctures.

Period leather very present.

Very good general condition.

Type of sword that participated in the battle of the Arcole Bridge.

Extremely rare, there are only a few known copies, including one at the Stibbert Museum in Florence.

The reward swords offered by Bonaparte after these glorious battles of that time are of the same style.
