Object description :

"Arthur Verona "haying" Around 1920 - Romanian Naturalism And Impressionism"
Very beautiful composition of a haymaking scene by Arthur Garguromin-Verona, a Romanian impressionist painter, extremely rare on the French market.
Vérona creates a vibrant feeling from a work rich in colors. A bright glow in the middle of a myriad of  touches, ochres, mauves, reds, greens, or blues, taken straight from the tube. The painter draws our attention, with broad brush strokes, to a peasant woman in the process of mow wheat, going up, uses tighter touches and finish in flat areas on the horizon.
