Bronze sculpture representing a laughing boy. The original was made in marble in 1460/64 by the Renaissance sculptor Desiderio da Settignano (c. 1430-1464), a student of the famous Donatello, a precursor of Renaissance sculpture. This work has been attributed to Donatello, hence the signature.

Height 29 cm, width 28.5 cm, depth 12 cm.

Brussels Artistic Foundry, 19th/20th century.
