Superb bronze representing a bust of a hunting dog, a griffin wearing a pompom hat and a dog collar with padlock in its original blackened wooden frame in the style of a human bust portrait.
a very beautiful bronze of a dog with an anthropomorphic appearance with exceptional carving and a nuanced brown patina with reddish reflections.

The dog's attitude is extremely well rendered.
the necklace is signed Lecourtier for Prosper Lecourtier (1855-1924).
and also bears the mark of the founder with the address rue de Nazareth.
the frame is original in blackened wood and has been slightly attacked by worms but work with xylophene was carried out in the workshop.
there are therefore no more occupants and we have been able to preserve the original setting.
