In openwork silver rosette. It is centered with a medallion decorated with guilloché blue enamel to which a small seed pearl star is applied. A crown of pearls then a crown of yellow-orange flowers surround this medallion between white enamel warheads studded with small rubies. On the reverse, under the medallion, a small compartment closed by a glass door must have contained a memory of a loved one: a small portrait, a lock of hair... The pendant is held by a silver chain decorated with four blue enameled sticks.
Around 1900.
Dimensions of the pendant: approximately 4 x 5 cm.
Chain length: approximately 49 cm.
Lobster clasp.
Weight: 13.2 g (silver – 925/1000)
Missing enamel and missing two pearls.
Condition:
Very fine and delicate pendant. But also fragile: two small pearls (one on the medallion and one in the crown around the medallion) are missing. Likewise, we will note an accident to the white enamel in the warhead under the bail. This is an ancient piece of jewelry, so there is nothing surprising about it.
