Mid-19th century France Curious old cane (Monoxyle), pure work of popular art, the cane and the pommel are made from the same wooden barrel. Superb fine workmanship, representation of a panther which attacks a man in a button-up jacket by biting the skull of its prey, while the man pulls the animal's tail. Note: The cane is not fragile.
