Poignant Ecce Homo, Polychrome Alabaster, Southern Italy, 18th C, Discovery Condition

Beautiful religious art object, Baroque period, probably Kingdom of Sicily, carved in two parts from heavy alabaster, and polychromed. An Ecce Homo of small size, but great expressiveness, which could be monastic work.
As found: incomplete for feet, small missing on beard, also missing links, and crown of thorns, which must have been vegetal.
Beautiful fruit wood base from the period... Beautiful Religious work...
Dimensions = sculpture: 18cm, with base: 25cm.
