Rectangular box in tan leather, gilded with small irons, on a wooden core. The lid is slightly domed. The handle and the keyhole are made of iron with traces of gilding. The original lock has lost its key as often! Also missing the small hooks on the front. Very beautiful and rich golden decoration throughout the box. The interior has retained its dominoté paper. Period 1st half of the 16th century.
