Max Ingrand
A famous French master glassmaker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte from 1954 for a decade. During those years he designed true design classics, such as the Fontana table lamp, still one of the best sellers of the company whose name he bears. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, he directed his specialization toward the decorative arts, under the guidance of great artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He has created numerous stained glass projects for religious buildings, hotels, public environments and has been awarded La Legion d'Honneur in France.
