Very beautiful GERMANY pitcher called "Bartmann"; the pitcher is glazed; This thin, shiny glaze is made by throwing sea salt at the base of the kiln when firing. The decoration is engraved and stamped with the face of a bearded man and a coat of arms. 17th century.
