Painter of Spanish origin, Blas Canovas moved to Paris in 1923 Initially, he worked as a designer of printed fabrics and textiles, before establishing himself as a painter. In particular, he exhibited several times at the Galerie Charpentier.
Sensitive to the changing atmospheres of nature, he makes his painting a catalyst for light. Readily inspired by the Fauves, his lively painting is expressed through marvelous flat areas of color.
Our stunning subject painting is a superb representation of the painter's enchanted mind.
