Decor known as Salembier (Henri SALEMBIER (Paris 1753-1820) is an ornamentalist who published several decoration books which had a major influence in the creation of the Louis XVI style. His compositions decorated with arabesques, trophies, garlands, draperies, trimmings and birds are exceptionally elegant and also inspired Parisian porcelain manufacturers.
