Art Deco period. Chalice and its silver-gilt paten. The chalice is made of hammered and gilded silver composed of three assembled elements. The base is circular in shape, decorated with an enamelled Greek cross inlaid in the middle of the terrace. The smooth cup with a flared hemispherical shape devoid of false cut rests on a flattened tubular stem garnished with a toric knot sculpted in high relief in the shape of a crown of thorns and a cross on each side. Beautiful silver-gilt paten decorated in its center with the image of the Holy Family accompanies this chalice. France around 1930.
