Single-edged steel blade with thick back and straight, slightly bevelled tip, pommel in brown horn forming a stylised bird's head and high seven-sided gilded brass ferrule.
The scabbard consists of a wooden blade trimmed with three wide strips of blond horn riveted with strips of gilded brass. The chappe is in brown leather with incised geometric decoration, the gilt brass bolt riveted five times.
