Rare colbac troop of the 17th Brunswick Hussar Regiment "Braunschweigisches Husaren-Regiment Nr. 17", complete headdress with its "Fangschnurr", ornaments: banner with brass victories and its white metal skull, label with the name of the wearer “Husar Temme” stuck on the red marking (traces), ca. 1910-1914.
Already in the principality of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, the "Roth Hussar Regiment" was established in 1759 by Duke Karl von Braunschweig during the Seven Years' War.
