Gouache on paper dating from the second half of the 20th century, representing an abstract composition of red, blue orange, yellow and checkerboards, signed lower right by the artist Ange Falchi (1913-1989). Ange Falchi, painter-sculptor, was born in Vence, Alpes-Maritimes. Graduate of Fine Arts. Bachelor's degree in Art History, painting and Sculpture, additional courses at Berghe Rouve, painting academy, Nice. Founding director of Acropoles, journal of Mediterranean Life and Civilizations. Ange Falchi is well known for his monumental sculpture "Solarius", commissioned by Brazil and inaugurated in 1967 in Brasilia. Dimensions: 79 x 62 cm
