Signed "MD | Proteor" [France], Circa 1930-1950, Leather, metal, rope. The upper part is in leather, metal ball joint and metal leg painted flesh color, wooden foot covered in turned leather. A brand of the manufacturer Proteor, the artificial legs workshop was created in 1913 on the eve of the Great War by three Burgundian craftsmen in the town of Seure (Côte-d'Or). No. 9535 written on the leather part. Some losses (including laces) and accidents (traces of rust and small shocks).
