Circa 1910 France Beautiful neo-classical style day dress in the taste of Parisian couturiers of this period. High-waisted dress with boat neckline and short sleeves in mechanically embroidered cotton tulle (which was avant-garde for the time). False buttoning with bell buttons on the front in sky blue silk taffeta with a reminder on a gathered belt and piping with a long side tab (rocket silk on the tab) and asymmetrical cockade on the back. Bobbin cotton lace inserts on the shoulders and at the bottom of the skirt. Staplement behind and dress fully lined with cream taffeta and muslin (small damage to the taffeta). Double petticoats of cream taffeta and pale pink muslin giving an interesting effect of transparency. No label, but very beautiful Parisian couture work. No major damage. Handle with delicacy! Good general structural condition. Dimensions: Equivalent to France size 36. Shoulders 36 cm, chest 88 cm, waist 68 cm, hips 95 cm, sleeves 25 cm, height 138 cm.
