"Jb Fromageot - 18th Century Louis XV Secretary"
Superb secretary all in marquetry from the Louis XV period signed under the marble "JB FROMAGEOT". It is richly decorated with garlands of foliage in gilded bronze, chiseled and screwed. On the facade, there are 3 Sèvres porcelain medallions decorated with birds with bronze mounts around the edges. This secretary has a drawer in the upper part, a desk compartment with various storage spaces and 2 doors in the lower part with shelves inside. Above rests an original marble in good condition. Original locks and keys. Some small marquetry restorations are to be expected in places. Magnificent French work of very high quality.Dimension
