Polychrome earthenware stoneware ceramic vase by Roger Guérin from the early 20th century. Very beautiful piece, height 42 cm, in excellent condition from the period 1910 to 1925 at the transition from the art nouveau art deco style. Vase signed on the back. Very beautiful glaze and flamed with magnificent blues and browns characterize this piece typical of the first period of this famous artist. Roger Guérin was a Belgian ceramist from 1896 to 1954 of the art deco period who worked with talent on stoneware with grand feu salt glaze. He participated in the Montparnasse station and the Natural History Museum of Brussels. Pieces were acquired by King Albert and by several Belgian, Dutch, Italian and American museums.
