"André Dignimont, Pen, Profile Of Régine"
André Dignimont is a French illustrator, painter and engraver. His career spans more than four decades, leading him as much towards portraiture and the female nude - watercolors, drawings and prints, Dignimont not painting on canvas - as well as towards the illustration of books and the theater decor, thereby linking itself to painters, writers (Colette, Francis Carco, Pierre Mac Orlan) and actors. In 1927, he left Montmartre to settle permanently at 1, rue Boutarel, where, as a flea market enthusiast, he created a museum of unusual objects. A large sheet with a delicate design in homage to a young woman. Signed and dedicated lower right.
