Young girl in a new dress. Elisée Cavaillon, sculptor, born in Nimes in 1873, executed this beautiful bronze with a light brum patina in 1906, it exudes a lot of grace and charm.
Elisée Cavaillon was a sculptor who exhibited at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts until 1925 as well as at the Salon d'Automne and the Tuilleries.
He was a member of the Schnegg gang (a group of sculptors who worked together, first around Rodin and then around Schnegg.
