"Indian Rajasthani Jewelry Box "
Very pretty box of folk art from the Indian state of Rajasthan. This chest was offered for a wedding. It was used to collect the jewelry that the bride received as a dowry at her wedding. Pretty work in carved wood and garnished with wrought iron elements.
