Important bust of "young lady of 18th century quality" in patinated terracotta on circular Carrara marble pedestal. The bust is signed on the reverse at the point "Darbefeuille" Paul (1855-1933), sculptor of the French School. Large size and very good quality of details. The face is magnificent and smiling, the hairstyle decorated with flowers is very elaborate and the clothing presents a cleverly neglected arrangement... A piece of great decoration.
