"Declaration Of Naturalness - Signed By Louis XVIII - Sealed With The Great Seal Of France"
Letter declaring the French naturalization of Mr. Jean-Antoine Dubois born in Switzerland, signed and delivered to the person concerned by King Louis XVIII at the Palais des Tuileries on July 2, 1817. The King's order is accompanied by the great seal of France in wax in its zinc case resting on a foam cushion, representing the King on the reverse, wearing his insignia and seated on his throne, with mantle, scepter and crown. On the obverse the Charter of Louis XVIII. The Seal is linked to the letter by a twisted fabric. At the back of the parchment letter, the recipient's rights to be paid on the French seal. Box diameter: 14.5cm.
