Lacquered wood office armchair resting on four square section sheath legs carved with a wide and unique rudentėe groove. Distinctive sign of the production of Pierre Pillot, cabinetmaker and carpenter who, after being a student of Mathieu de Bauve, obtained his master's degree in Paris before settling permanently in Nîmes. Stamped twice under the seat. ( see photos ). Good general condition. Upholsterer to be completed. Nîmes, end of the 18th century.
