"Majorelle Cup With Lucane"
Earthenware cup on heel by Majorelle. In the shape of a crenellated leaf with a golden border, the white background is not smooth, it reveals the veins and irregularities of the leaf. This model is decorated with a central bouquet of roses, forget-me-nots and flowers and another smaller bouquet made up only of flowers. But the main decoration lies in the presence of an important insect, a large stag beetle which gives the cup its originality and accentuates the naturalistic Art Nouveau side of this piece. On the reverse we find the red stamp "Majorelle Nancy" and the hollow number 18. Good condition. 19x16cm H: 4.5cm
