Biography :
Roger Allain (1920 -1992) Born in Annemasse (France) and died in Houston (USA) Parisian painter , former student graduated from the Arts et Métiers, Industrial Arts and Beaux-Arts schools in Geneva in 1939, member of the Salons des Indépendants and de l'Art Libre in Paris.
He exhibited in numerous Parisian galleries after the Liberation; then emigrated to the United States in the 1960s; based in New York, he specialized in the restoration of furniture and paintings, while continuing to paint gigantic frescoes, portraits of families and children, and trompe l'oeil paintings.
