Medallion-shaped fire screen in carved and gray Trianon lacquered wood resting on two rough-edged feet carved with daisies, in its original lacquer the screen is formed from a fine polychrome tapestry with Saint-Cyr points representing a flowered basket in a framed with laurel branches The screen can be raised on request by wedging, the rear lined with original satinette in used condition Pretty model of French work living room screen from the Louis XVI period second half of the 18th century Height 103cm width 67cm, the floor skate 57cm X 41cm
