"Barometer At La Lyre - Restoration Period"
Lyre barometer according to Toricelli Restoration period, early 19th century. Around 1815-20, transition between the Empire with a square dial, and the Restoration with this lyre decoration. It is signed "Lambert à Saint-Denis" for the royal optician, and has its tube on the back with its mercury inside. The system is made of 3 wooden panels, protected by glass. It needs to be adjusted because it does not work, decorative function.
