"Photographic Plates From 1900"
Astonished my grandson when he opened the sliding case of one of the four boxes... In transparency, he recognized the gondolas of Venice and his remark was relevant.... But there is no world in the photo.... We can imagine that in 1900, tourism was more discreet... Then I had to explain to him that the iridescence of the silver plates were the silver salts, fixed on the support etc. .... So, what an astonishing feeling of intrusion to immerse myself in this world asleep since 1900, where a little girl plays with her hoop among the tall grass, ... I almost want to develop the positive of these photos to better salute these immortalized people. Four boxes of intact plates.
