"Charles X Enameled Gold Vinaigrette. Early 19th Century "
Rectangular enameled gold vinaigrette. The hinged lid is decorated with symmetrical foliage motifs left in reserve on a black enamel background enhanced with white enamel. The lid opens onto a pierced grid, finely crafted and decorated with foliage and foliage organized around a central rosette. This grid made it possible to hold a sponge soaked in bergamot vinegar or another essence.
