Precious little Louis XV period buffet, by Pierre HACHE. Made of blond walnut, walnut burl, its curved facade opens with two doors veneered with walnut burl enhanced with ebony fillets, all of the crosspieces finely carved with foliage, foliage, flowers and shells. The work of native woods and the ornamentation are typical of the great Grenoble cabinetmaker. The label affixed to most of the furniture in this workshop is present (partly torn) under the shelf. The piece of furniture is in perfect condition, and entirely original (backs, shelves, lock, key, etc.).
