This watercolor on paper is from the 18th century, not all from the period. It is a scene in a port that one can imagine French. We see two three-masted ships, people boarding, fishermen on the pontoon, a waterfall. The watercolor was opened to have access to the marking at the top, but I read "View", I don't think it is a signature (photo 7). Everything is in a carved gilded wood frame.
