"Watercolor 18th Century Port Scene With Waterfall And Ships In Gilded Wooden Frame"
This watercolor on paper is from the 18th century, not all from the period. It is a scene in a port that one can imagine French. We see two three-masted ships, people boarding, fishermen on the pontoon, a waterfall. The watercolor was opened to have access to the marking at the top, but I read "View", I don't think it is a signature (photo 7). Everything is in a carved gilded wood frame. Traces on the watercolor should be noted as well as wear, friction and loss of gilding on the frame. For the condition, please detail the photos. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Frame Height: 32.5 cm Width: 38 cm View Height: 25.5 cm Width: 31 cm E: C689
