Old Round Diamond Ring

Old round-shaped ring whose top is decorated with old cushion-cut diamonds, the center one being more important and set with turned-down claws. Openworks were added to the basket to allow light to penetrate under the stones. The ring is falling and its departure is formed by a decoration like an Ionic pillar.

Period: 19th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, horse's head hallmark.
Proportions: Diameter: approximately 18.3 mm, thickness: 5.4 mm, width of the ring at the base: approximately 1.5 mm.
Net weight: approximately 2.2g.
Authentic old jewel - French work from the second half of the 19th century.
Our opinion: of great refinement, this old ring takes up the codes of Greek architecture, very fashionable at the time.
