Charming lady's secretary in mahogany veneer, amaranth and inlaid fillets. It opens with four drawers and a flap, interior with drawers and leather top edged with golden Greek motifs. Uprights with cut sides, inlaid grooves and antique-style falls in gilded bronze. Beaded pull rings, keyholes with laurel scraps. Incarnat Turquin marble top with reversed cavet. Stamp of Fidelys Schey, received master cabinetmaker in Paris in 1777. Period late 18th century. Height 126 cm, marble width 61 cm, marble depth 34 cm. Plating: wear.
