LIMOUSE Roger Marcel (1894-1990) Born October 19, 1894 in Collo (Algeria) Died in 1990 Active since 1919 in France Painter of animated compositions, figures, interiors, still lifes, flowers. Employee of the Tunis administration, he left his job and the city in 1919 to study painting in the workshop of PA Laurens, at the Académie Julian. He was accepted in 1922 in the competitive examination for teaching positions in the schools of the City of Paris. He had the opportunity of numerous trips to Italy, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Morocco. He exhibited with the painters of Poetic Reality, notably in a retrospective collective exhibition in 1956. In 1933, he won the Vikings prize with the crustaceans.
