"Meissen Porcelain Group"
German porcelain group from the Meissen factory, late 19th century. On an oval-shaped base a gallant scene is represented: the seated couple is dressed in 18th century fashion and the color of their clothes is predominantly red. Each person tilts their head towards their partner, almost touching each other. A little white and brown pug with a blue collar puts two paws on his mistress's dress to attract her attention; he certainly finds himself a little neglected which does not seem to disturb the lovers at all. Beautiful expressive composition for this classic subject from the Meissen factory, the presence of the pug brings additional interest to this pretty group. 15.5 Good condition.
