"Verdussen Jan Peeter – 18th Century – Hunting Departure – Oil On Canvas – Signed"
The scene represents a hunting departure, in front of a castle. In the foreground, a group of riders, grooms and horses, very dynamic and as if caught from life. Further away, other riders are busy, while several people are installed in the grass or on the bridge. In the background is the massive silhouette of a castle, with a tiled roof. Everything is placed in front of a sky full of clouds. The work, small in size and therefore easy to place in a room, is full of very lively details. It is signed lower right.
Condition: Work in very good condition, clean. It is offered in a gilded frame in good condition (visible alterations).
