Rare Paper Greenhouse Circa 1780

Chiseled bronze, brown and golden patina, white marble with patina of use.
This paper greenhouse represents a lion resting one paw on a ball in the spirit of the Medici lions. the ball being a symbol of power, wealth.
Being small, much-handled objects, old paper clips are rare.
The base is decorated with a large pearl. The polylobed nut is typical of the 18th.

Dimension: height: 16 cm, base: 16 cm x 6.8 cm.
Condition: Good original condition, rare chips from use under the base, and slight wear on the bronze reliefs.
