Barometer thermometer in carved wood re-gilded and re-lacquered sea green from the Louis XV / Louis XVI XVIIIth Transition Period. Thermometer after Réaumur, rich ornamentation in gilded carved wood: moving foliage around its edge, pediment surrounded by a shell with a flower in the center, moving foliage on the base. Gold leaf gilding in very good condition, mercury mechanism. (missing a small glass counterweight)
