Octagonal equinoctial portable sundial in gilded brass with a plate engraved with friezes, a compass, a folding gnomon and an hour circle that can be oriented according to the latitude indications engraved on the cursor. On the reverse, the compass bowl is marked with certain latitudes: “Elev Pol Augsburg Paris 48 Cracau Prag 50 Leipzig 51” and is signed “And. Vogl” for Andreas Vogler.
