Staring fixedly, leaning on his ammunition box, the hunter poses in front of his property. A peaceful representation of rural life, his faithful companion is watching him, and time seems suspended in reverie. Cleverly composed, our painting highlights the model's attributes: his home, his dog and his cartridges. A sort of allegory of country life, it's a pleasant place to live, with a gentle poetic quality.
