Rare vase decorated with cranes or herons flying above a swamp made up of water lilies and reeds. This decoration is crossed by gilded tree branches engraved with the wheel. The base of the vase is also decorated with budding flowers engraved and treated with gold leaf. Work in enameled and acid-etched glass on a background with purple and green reflections. Very beautiful decor. Vase in perfect condition made around 1895 and signed under the base "Daum Nancy". An unpopped bubble at the bottom of the decoration. The Museum of Fine Arts in Nancy preserves and presents in its collection a vase with a similar decoration. note that a vase with similar decoration is mentioned in several books on Daum, notably: Daum Noel, Daum Maitres verriers, Editions Edita Denoël, 1980
