Magnificent little Louis XV style Lady's Desk. French work from the 19th century. In Rosewood veneer and precious wood inlays, this elegant desk is decorated with finely chiseled gilded bronze on its uprights and arched legs. Perfect stability. Decorated with flowers and leaves on its 3 moving sides. In the upper part, it is topped by 2 drawers topped with shelves inserted in openwork gilded brass galleries, separated by a niche flanked by an original beveled mercury mirror (intact). It opens on the front with a flap revealing 3 small identical drawers, a writing tablet covered in green leather (in used condition), as well as a secret locker with gilded brass tab.
