"Engraving By Otton Depicting Alicia Alonso "
Very beautiful engraving of the portrait of the Cuban star dancer Alicia Alonso with a stamp, dated 1981 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the dancer's stage debut in 1931. 24X28 cm engraving in a 43X39 cm frame Alicia Alonso was born in 1920 in Havana . She will be named a star dancer and will work with the greatest choreographers across international stages. She holds the record for longevity on stage. In 1948, she founded the "Alicia Alonso Ballet" in Havana and she continued to direct it until the 2010s. In 2002, she was named a UNESCO goodwill ambassador. She died on October 17, 2019 in her hometown.
